Urdu poetry holds a strong secular tradition. The mushairas – poetic recitals – an event that has been in our culture for so long and loved to this day. And, just by hearing this word typically our senses are drawn towards the notion of love.

It is true that aside from patriotic poems, Urdu literature is enriched and known for romantic Shayari. People mostly students of 10th and 12th resembles Urdu literature as urdu poetry sad but they will also say urdu poetry best.
