Since the coronavirus has kept everyone in their houses, people are getting creative day by day! Despite the sad ambiance, teenagers always come with some creative ideas to have fun. And this time, it is the trending ‘#ghostphotoshoot’ which started on TikTok in the mid of September!
The trend was set by the TikToker Jack Janson. Just when he uploaded the video of him dressing up as a ghost and taking pictures, people start reacting to it. The ghost photoshoot video surpasses nearly 2.5 billion views and it’s still trending.
As the American holiday ‘Halloween’ is now happening, this ghost trend is a new style of celebrating the festive.
But with popularity comes criticism also. While many young people are enjoying this fun ghost photoshoot and few are hating it. The reason is that the ghost costume is similar to that of KKK outfit who terrorized and killed black people in the 1800s and 1900s.
This divided twitter into 2 groups and the debate begins. But as the criticism came, more people get attracted to it, and hence it gets its way in Asian countries also.
Apart from the hatred, this really looks fun. And if you are thinking to try this ghost trend with your friends then don’t forget to add the ‘Oh Klahoma’ song to your snap video!
