every time melancholy knocks at your door.
It might be painful but once
I’m born, I’ll cup your worn-out face as gently as I can, and caress it
like a lily. The pain will vanish like a deer in front of headlights. As

Y’all introduced me to metaphors and similes, it felt like high tide
waves greeting the shore, bystanders loving the drops of water landing
